Earth Day Fundraisers

 

For the past several years, Lincoln Park AAZK has held events around Earth Day (April 22nd). The funds raised benefit Save Nature's Adopt an Acre program. We have done wine tastings and also paint and sip events.

 

To date we have purchased several acres of land in protected areas of Brazil, Panama, Namibia, and Costa Rica. Our chapter was awarded with the SaveNature.org Conservation Award at the 2012 AAZK National Conference in Syracuse, New York.
